Remember the days when you could focus and life didn’t seem to drag you in multiple directions? I think we call those the teenage years, god they were wonderful. When you become an adult, those multiple directions become your life. It’s a joy to grow up, but sometimes its a douche in high heels. Majority of the time, its the second one. Just making a point to say that I am back and I am fantastic because I know I have been a terrible person to this gift of a website. As you can see I came back with a smoking new layout, that I just finished today. I have added in a new edition to the sidebar, well two actually; twitter and updates. I wouldn’t have been able to do these if it had not been for the tutorials on the lovely website of Georgina.
Yes, it was her tutorials that drove me to making such additions and I’m not done. There are a couple more on there, I’d love to try out on the website. If you haven’t visited, take a look. She has tons of helpful things on there.
In other news, this month is the shameless NaNoWriMo for those of you who do not know what that means it means: National Novel Writing Month. What is this? That is a valid question every November from the first to the last day in November we write our little hearts out on a novel to reach the maximum word goal of 50,000. It’s really fun and enjoyable, but mostly it is a challenge to ourselves to see if we can preserve on and make it happen. There are boards out there made just for this, and there are people who use this to further their own stories they have done in their own time. In all, it’s fun, and it’s refreshing. Thinking about giving it a try, then take the time to visit the website and start writing. There is never a moment too late to start. NaNoWriMo.
Life is grand and I am living it as anyone should, as though nothing great can last. I hate my job, but who doesn’t hate their job from time to time. Regardless, I’m getting my life on track. That’s the most important thing.
